Happy Black History Month!
My good friend Matt Day wanted to make some dance videos to honor Black History Month. We made 3 completely different videos and today we released the first one entitled “Strange Fruit”.
Strange Fruit is part one of the Mutant State Of Mind Black History Trilogy. We feel as if a lot of young people today do not realize the pain and suffering that took place in the slave days, due to a lack of education many young people only think of the underground railroad when asked about slaves. In reality the underground railroad only helped a portion of slaves and it seems as if all the slave that past away now get over looked when it comes to education. We are not saying that the Underground railroad was insignificant but what we are asking is for people young, old, black, white, yellow, blue, purple or whatever you may be, challenge yourself and take a deeper look into the past and what really took place and how horrible life was for those who came before you it might just make you change your lifestyle.
